TL;DR
SpaceX’s Crew-13 mission recently achieved the fastest U.S. spacecraft journey to the International Space Station in history. According to the ScienceDaily article, the Dragon spacecraft completed the trip in 7 hours and 50 minutes. This mission is notable for being led by Jessica Watkins, who, as the Ars Technica article notes, became the first Black woman to lead a mission into space. While Crew-13 marks a successful milestone, NASA continues to manage transitions in its crewed flight program, including the conclusion of the Crew-12 mission and ongoing efforts to address technical challenges with the Boeing Starliner.
